Who can join Work After Tot?
Work After Tot is open to all parents and caregivers be they moms, dads, grandparents, guardians or parents-to-be. As a community of parents, we are committed to helping our fellow members draw on a bigger pool of resources, referrals and opportunities in order to thrive.
-
Why not focus on women and moms only?
While the concept of women helping other women has been an invaluable force in regards to propelling women forward for generations prior, we believe that offering assistance and opening up resources to all parents and guardians will ultimately better serve the family as a whole (no matter the makeup of said family).
-
Will you have programs for kids?
The short answer is yes. Through Work After Tot, we will create ample comprehensive opportunities for members to give back to the community of fellow families. That includes, but is not limited to, stepping up as mentors or advisors during events and workshops, including entrepreneurship classes and workshops for tweens and teens, as well as adults. We will also offer parents of little ones age-appropriate classes and meet ups.
-
Are you a 501c3 organization?
Not yet. We are in the process of applying for 501c3 accreditation. In the meantime we are able to operate as not-for-profit for two years after our formation. We can receive donations but we cannot offer our donors a tax-compliant donation receipt.

Can I bring my kids to events?
Please always read carefully through the description of the event, gathering or a workshop that you are planning to attend. Some events will be open to adults only, so no kids on premises and no childcare. During certain events we will offer parents limited onsite child supervision. To reserve a spot or inquire about cost/age, you will have to reach out to us directly prior to the event. Some events will be tailored to parents and kids. For such events you will have to reserve a spot for every member of your family in advance.
-
Are all your events free?
We will always specify in the event description if the event or a program is free or requires a purchase of a ticket. Some free programs may require registration in order to secure a spot. If you are not sure or have questions, you can always reach out to us directly.
