I’m a wife, mother, sister, and friend living in Forest Hills, NY with my husband, two young boys and baby girl. I was born and raised in Long Island, NY but settled in NYC post college to work in media and advertising where I’ve been for the last 16+ years.

My kids have changed who I thought I was, who I thought I wanted to be and who I now know I need to be for them. They have inspired me to want to be the best version of myself and take my responsibility to shape their experiences seriously.

I am survival of parenting has hinged on two things, 1) my parenting community. Moms friends and dad friends with kids of similar ages that understand my day to day challenges, can offer support advice and can be a place where I share my parenting joys 2) Local parenting support has become critical. My oldest son was 3 years old when I first learned there was a Facebook group for FH parents. What?!?! How have I missed this? Well, we don’t know what we don’t know. And it took me a long time to find local parents to connect.
